DuitAman Privacy Policy

DuitAman ("the app", "we") is made by Bali Projects, Bali, Indonesia. This policy explains what data DuitAman uses, where it is kept, and your rights over it, in line with Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 27 of 2022, "UU PDP"). The Indonesian version prevails if the two differ.
In short
- All your data stays on your own phone. DuitAman has no server and no account. We never receive, see or store your financial records.
- No bank connection. You enter the figures yourself.
- No ads, no analytics, no tracking. Your financial records are never sent over the internet. The app goes online only for the DuitAman Plus subscription: when you open the Plus screen, or if this phone has had a subscription (see *DuitAman Plus and payments*).
The data you enter, and where it is kept
The following is stored in the app's private storage on your phone (an SQLite database), which other apps cannot read:

We do not ask for your full name, phone number, email, ID number, location, contacts or bank details.
Features that use your phone
- Reminders (notifications) are scheduled and shown by your phone itself, with no server. A reminder may include a bill's name and amount; on the lock screen its content follows your phone's notification privacy setting.
- App lock uses your phone's fingerprint, face or PIN through Android/iOS. DuitAman only learns "success" or "failure"; your biometric data never reaches the app.
- CSV export and PDF report are created on your phone and opened in the Share menu. A file only leaves your phone if you pick a destination (for example WhatsApp, Gmail or Drive), and the copy on the phone is deleted after sharing. Once sent, the file is subject to the policy of the service you chose.
Android automatic backup
On Android, the system may back up app data to your own Google account (Google Drive), so your data moves with you to a new phone. Google manages and encrypts this backup; we cannot access it. You can turn it off in Settings → Google → Backup on your phone.
DuitAman Plus and payments
The 35-day Plus trial needs no card or payment method and never charges automatically.
If you subscribe to Plus, payment is handled by Google Play (or the App Store). We never receive your card number or payment details.
To show the price and confirm your subscription status, the app uses RevenueCat. The app connects to RevenueCat only when you open the DuitAman Plus screen, and each time the app starts once this phone has had a subscription. RevenueCat receives:
- a random user ID created by the app (not your name, email or phone number);
- the store's purchase receipt and subscription status;
- technical data that comes with any internet connection: app version, device type and OS version, language, and IP address.
RevenueCat does not receive your financial records (balance, payday, entries, bills or goals). RevenueCat is based in the United States, so this data is processed outside Indonesia, over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). If you never open the Plus screen, the app never connects to RevenueCat.
How long data is kept
Data stays on your phone until you delete it. You can:
- edit or delete entries, bills and goals one by one;
- use Profile → Delete all data to remove everything from the app;
- uninstall the app, which removes its data from the phone. A backup in your Google account follows Google's settings and retention.
Your rights under the UU PDP
Because your data is on your phone, you can view, correct, export (CSV) and delete it yourself from inside the app, without asking us. We hold no copy of your financial records. For subscription data at RevenueCat (the random ID and purchase history), you can ask for a copy or its deletion by email at the address below. For questions, contact us at the address below.
Security
Data is kept in the app's private storage, protected by the operating system and your phone's encryption. The app does not add its own separate encryption. For extra protection, turn on App lock in Profile and use a screen lock on your phone.
Children
DuitAman is meant for users aged 18 and over. Users under 18 should use it with the consent and guidance of a parent or guardian.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is posted on this page with a new effective date. For important changes we also tell you inside the app.
