A small practice, not an agency

We are software engineers and IT consultants who have been building systems, and running the teams that deliver them, since 2008.

Every engagement is led by a senior consultant who stays on it from kickoff to handover. No account manager in between, and no junior team learning on your project. Specialist engineers, designers and QA join as the work needs them, which is how a team of ten to twenty gets assembled for a build without you paying for a bench between projects.

Most projects fail in the gap between what the business asked for and what the engineers built. We have worked both sides of that gap, as developers, QA engineers, Scrum Masters and the people answering to the board, which means being useful in a requirements meeting and a code review on the same afternoon.

Questions we get asked first

Do you only work with clients in Bali?

No. We are based in Bali and most work is remote, with clients across Southeast Asia, Australia and the US. For Bali and Jakarta clients we do process mapping on site, which is worth doing in person at least once.

How do you charge?

Fixed price for discovery and automation sprints, monthly retainer for fractional delivery, time and materials for longer builds. Rates are quoted after the first call, once we know what the work is.

We already have developers. Is there still a reason to talk?

Often that is the strongest case. Good engineers with no senior delivery lead is exactly where projects drift: unclear requirements, no prioritisation, dependencies nobody tracks. The fractional PM engagement fills that, and replaces nobody on your team.

Is our data safe if we start using AI tools?

It depends on what you send and where. Before anything is built we agree what data leaves your systems, who processes it, whether it can be used for training, and where it is stored. Enterprise tiers do not train on your data by default, and sensitive workloads have regional and self-hosted options.

Where personal or financial data is involved, that decision gets written down before implementation, not after.

What if AI turns out not to be the answer?

Then we do not use it. Discovery regularly ends by recommending an integration, a process change, or a tool you already pay for. You still get the process map and the plan, which is the part with value.

How quickly can we start?

First call within a few days, discovery usually within two weeks. Build work depends on what discovery finds, and we say so honestly if the calendar does not allow it.
